Safeguarding

Safeguarding Policy Overview

At Elevate-Ed, safeguarding is our top priority. We are dedicated to creating a secure, inclusive environment for every learner. This policy guides our approach to ensure that all children feel valued, protected, and supported throughout their educational journey with us.

Our Commitment

We are committed to:

  • Protecting Children: Shielding them from maltreatment, abuse, and neglect.

  • Promoting Wellbeing: Supporting their physical and emotional development.

  • Prompt Action: Swiftly identifying, reporting, and managing safeguarding concerns.

Designated Safeguarding Contacts

Our designated safeguarding lead, Aaron Guy, manages all safeguarding matters. He is trained and certified to respond effectively to concerns, working closely with the Children’s Advice and Duty Service (CADS) if immediate guidance or intervention is required.

Key Safeguarding Procedures

  1. Transparent Reporting: Staff, volunteers, and external partners are trained to report concerns promptly to ensure child safety.

  2. Collaborative Partnerships: We work with parents, carers, and external agencies to maintain an open, supportive environment.

  3. Rigorous Training: Our team undergoes regular safeguarding training, following the latest legislation and best practices.

  4. Safer Recruitment: We conduct thorough background checks on all staff and volunteers.

In Aaron’s absence, CADS can be contacted for safeguarding support at 0344 800 8021.
